Records what you hear
System audio, your microphone, or a single app such as Teams or Zoom, in one recording or kept apart.
Transcribes on your PC
Speech recognition runs locally. Your audio never leaves the computer, and NoteFly works without a connection.
Knows who spoke
Speakers are told apart by voice. Name them once and NoteFly recognises them in later recordings.
Polishes, if you ask
Invited users can turn a transcript into minutes, call notes, lecture notes or a clean transcript, as Word, PDF or Markdown.
Private by default
- Recording and transcription happen on your PC. Audio is never uploaded.
- Online polishing is optional and for invited users. Only the transcript text is sent, and only when you choose Polish.
- Once NoteFly has downloaded the document, it deletes the transcript and the document from the service. The service deletes them after 24 hours at the latest.
